The British Association for Romantic Studies (BARS), “Romantic Poets” Series
I am honored to have several of my poems published with the British Association for Romantic Studies (BARS), including background notes that reflect on the inspiration behind each poem. The poems published include “Lines Written by Moonlight at Whitby Abbey” (2019), “Ghosts of 1816” (2017), “Keats Stone” (2021), “The Queen of the Night” (2021), “The Fires of Ecstasy at Samhuinn” (2020), a fragment from my long poem My Mélusine Illusion (2021), and “The Hecatean Ides; or, The Dark Spirit of Shelleyan Solitude” (2022).
These particular poems were all included in my first book, A Ride Through Faerie & Other Poems (2021), with the exception of “The Hecatean Ides; or, The Dark Spirit of Shelleyan Solitude”, which was both written and published in the spring of 2022.
I want to give a special thanks to Dr. Adam Neikirk and Dr. Amy Wilcockson for including my writing in their “Romantic Poets” series.
